Perform Informatica Administration – installation, configuration, upgrades, domain setup, user/group management, code migrations, and backup/restore.
Support and optimize Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Data Quality, PowerExchange, and DVO environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Informatica ETL and platform issues in a 24x7 environment.
Develop and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, and reusable scripts for monitoring, backups, and automation.
Administer AWS ETL services – Glue, S3, EKS, Data Pipeline, Step Functions – with connectivity to RDS and big data systems.
Implement performance tuning strategies for ETL code and platform optimization.
Leverage UNIX shell scripting, pmcmd/pmrep utilities for automation and service monitoring.
Collaborate with teams using version control tools (GitHub/Bitbucket) and scheduling tools (AutoSys).
Maintain strong observability, monitoring, and system health checks (CPU, Memory, SAN, Network).
Document designs, procedures, migration standards, and best practices in Confluence & Jira.
Provide knowledge sharing, mentoring, and support to onshore/offshore teams.
Raise service requests and liaise with Informatica for product-related issue resolution.
Support continuous evolution of data platforms – Data Lakes, Data Mesh, Data Governance, and cloud modernization.
